A must for anyone.....It has totally expanded my creative ideas..
Sound
This sounds fantastic....you really listen to the Beatles in a differnt light figuring out that alot of the random things going on during :
"I am the Walrus" and "Strawberry fields" comes from these bank sounds.
The Bassoon+flute patch is worth the price alone....and of course the
"Strawberry fields" flute that Fiona Apple seems to love also.
Features
The addition of Attack and Release add a lot to the realism..or unrealism.....I would have liked to have some type of combine function..

Amazing....Dont know how i survived without this software

Overall this is an excellent plugin! I cannot understand the other review as he posted his concern on November 2004 yet he is running Windows 98 SE? No wonder he is having problems. I am running this on OS X 10.3.5 and have used it in Logic, Live, and Digitla Performer with no problems. I also have all the sound banks. This plugin is beyond awesome!
Sound
Sounds are from a real Mellotron, not virtually recreated.
Features
You won't find tons of features, but this is an exact replica of the real Mellotron. Anything more would be overkill. It does what is expected and that's all I want.
Quality
The sounds are genuine. You can buy expansion packs for cheap from G-Media resellers. They actually hunted down custom Mellotrons from around the world to make the additional banks.
Value
This plugin is so cheap I can hardly believe it. Yet it is stable, sounds great, and is everything I could ask for.

The Wow Factor
If you want the sounds of the Mellotron, this is the plugin to get! Forget samples CDs in other formats. They don't compare.

"Major cpu problems."
After lengthy e-mail exchanges with the poor support,I dont use it any more.
Sound
The sounds are fantastic but has major cpu problems when used with Mac osx and very poor product support.
Features
It did not need any accessories.
Ease of Use
Major cpu program problems.
Quality
The program design is very poor indeed. It has major cpu use problems that the support team were not really interested in solving.
Value
I would not buy it again as it has not been designed properly to work with Mac osx.

E-mail support for this is very poor indeed and can take days or longer for a reply. This is not a pro tool.

"A Nightmare!!"
Sound
I have been trying to load this product into my Win98SE computer with no luck for about a month now. My support programs cannot find the plug-ins and I've tried everything! I've been thru a bunch of SoftSynth forums and noone there can help either. Gmedia fails to respond to my e-mails, phone calls and FAX's. Don't chance this thing!!
