"I love this case!"

I wanted something a little more vintage feeling and different than the usual hardcase plastic and this case feels that need perfectly. With some age the burlap cloth will really bring out the feel i was looking for. The interior is a nice plush velvet with an ample storage space behind the neck. It is light, sturdy enough for equally light bumps and seems to be well made for the design. My biggest concern was fit, however this fits the Epiphone Sheraton-II PRO i ordered with it perfectly.

"Great case for Gretsch 2420T Streamliner"

When I purchased my Gretsch recently there was no case included and I couldn't find any information for a case that fit. I took some careful measurements and ordered this case from Gator. It is nice snug fit (be sure to point the tailpiece arm toward the bottom of the guitar before closing) and provides great protection.

"Not as Good as I hoped for."

Tried to save a bit of money on a case for my Gretsch G5410T Rat Rod. Since the price for the Gretsch case made for the rat is all or nothing I chose the Journeyman Case so I could make payments, It is a beautiful case can't deny that. But the construction is subpar and not acceptable. The lid has a huge gap on the bought of the case and you can see into the case after latching it tight. Seems one of the hinges is not in the proper place and gets strange pressure on it so it distorts the case as you shut it. Plus my Rat is a bit to big for the case. You can fit it and close and lock the case but it is a lot of pressure on the guitar. My G5422T is a bit thinner and fits extremely well. So I guess I'll use the case for the Centerblock instead. anyways I was thinking of returning it but I dont want to pay for the shipping so I will keep it and just deal with it. I do Not recommend this case!

This case is just downright sweet. The ES 335 fits snug and looks even better. Real Classy. For just a few more dollars the Journeyman 335 case presents an elegance that will catch the eye.

Great case, it gets more comments than whats inside. Which is a Epiphone Lucille, that fits perfectly no movement with just the correct amount of padding.

"Fits the Sire H7, sort of"

I had originally hoped Sire made a case for this guitar, but alas it does not. So I got the Gator GW-JM 335 because it's the one recommended by zZounds on the Sire H7 page. Overall, it's ok, and if that sounds like I'm unenthusiastic about it, it's because I am.First look: it's attractive. I like the burlap look, in part because it matches the Guilford cloth I used when I built my studio sound baffles; and the dark brown (espresso) trim and dark brass hardware look pretty great. The interior, a blue plush, is soft and cushioned, as expected. It's also very light, which tells me there's not a lot of wood involved, so I don't expect this would hold up as a travel case, just local gigging. The first problem I noticed is that the buckles on the latches are loose and don't seem particularly secure. It includes a lock, but if I had larceny on my mind, I would not be deterred by these flimsy flippers. The second and —at least for me, more important— thing is the fact that it's not a really great fit for the H7. Honestly, I did not particularly expect a perfect fit, because the H7 is *not* a 335, it just looks like one, and the dimensions are just a hair different. What I *did* expect is that the padding on the inside—which is a separate, upholstered piece of padding—is not very squishy. In other words, it has very little flexibility. It holds the lower bout well, but the wings up top, very tight. Too tight. The guitar does not sit flat on the bottom of the case. I figure some time in the case will eventually compress the padding to fit, but I may also have a friend sew me a new padding strip with more malleable foam inside. Other minor issues have more to do with quality fit and finish. The storage compartment on all my other cases is snug enough that nothing falls out. I noticed just now when I opened the case, my picks had fallen out of the compartment. On closer inspection, there is a substantial gap all around the lid, which is pretty loosely attached, just sort of sewn in —not a proper hinge. Another issue is the strap that keeps the lid from flopping all the way open is cut so close to the tipping point that's it's a crap shoot whether or not the lid stays open. If you're putting your guitar in the case and the lid comes down unexpectedly, I can see the latches taking a serious bite out of your guitar's top. It's fixable, but why should it need to be?I'd try another one, but I haven't seen any cases made specifically for the H7, so rather than ordering every case out there, I'll make this work, but it is not a match made in heaven.

I ordered this case because it had a vintage vibe! It seems to be well made,However, the guitar I ordered, aLarry Carlton, H7 ,335, vintage sunburst,Is somewhere out there ,Maybe it isn’t even built yet, LOL! When it arrives I’m sure this case will cradle it perfectly!I’ve done business with ZZOUNDS before on numerous occasions without any issues! If you’re looking for a well made case with an uncommon appearance and cool vibe at a great price, this is the one!

This is a very cool case. Fits my gretsch streamliner with a bigsby tremolo great. However, once I got it and opened it up I noticed it has a couple of brown spill stains on it that will not come out. Also one of the brass buttons from the case fell out of the box along with the nail that holds it in place. The button is bent and will not go back on.

Nice case . Fits my Epiphone ES 335 Blueberry Burst like it was made for it . Epiphone cases were unavailable at the time of purchase and an overseas online vendor said they couldn't sell me one due to country agreements . This Gator case filled the void . Solid case , get one .
