Cut out line noise completely... smooth power on/off with no 'bang' from powered speakers etc etc... now I just leave everything on and turn it off at the master switch on the Furman

This unit costs a pretty penny- BUT you get quality and peace of mind! This is a rather large and heavy (11lbs) piece, and quite deep. Did I have problems before- NO- my sound system was rock solid and sounded great! BUT, there is a slight perceptible improvement with this unit. I have 2 other Furman units, and am using a M-8Dx as my second unit, itself a fine unit. BUT, am going to replace with another PL Plus DMC very soon! The LED unit is larger, and being able to see what I'm pulling is a nice feature. If your on the fence as to whether the cost is worth it- rest assured it is!

I have an Axe fx2 and just don't trust the cheap Walmart surge protector with something so expensive. I've never owned a power conditioner before and after reading all the reviews on how nice furman power conditioners were I chose this one and I'm so glad I did! This thing is built so well! I wasn't expecting it to be so nice. The power switch is big and beafy. The LED pullout lights are nice and bright. Knowing how much voltage is coming from the wall outlet is great, plus how many amps I'm pulling. I didnt have an issue with pops and cracks in my sound but I can still tell a difference in sound quality! I couldn't be happier with this purchase and will from now on buy furman products.

I would have gave a full 5 stars for this product if it would have came with the usb port in the front panel like it's 20 amp big brother has but it's not a deal breaker.

Many people say you can not hear the difference. I can. Even though Panamax bought Furman. Furman is built better.I have mine feeding my home theater receiver. I can tell the sound stage is better. Blue ray channels are more localized and clearer. Bass is tighter too. I had to go in my receiver settings to readjust my equalizer. My bass was to loud and my mid range was brighter . It became a little to bright for my room. Built like a tank- the only down side is the volt/amp meter, it is a little to bright even with the dimmer.

A Must have in any rack, Well worth the Money! If your thinking about a power conditioner spend the extra buck and get this one, you'll only have to buy it once. Haven't had to use Manufacturer Support as I just bought the unit, but Furman is always good.

"Great Product for home theater"

My home theater is pushing 125 watts per channel 7 channels driven, I'm Running Infinity SM152 for mains with a set of Bose 301 on top of them. SM 65 for rears and a DCM center channel. My Subs Are 1 150 watt Definitive Technology and 1 350 watt Martin Logan. My TV is a 52 inch plasma. My Base is deeper and mid range seem smoother. I can turn everything on with one switch now too.The pull out lights helps me see to adjust my receiver and find my Blue Ray discs.
Better sound plus peace of mind, what else do you need for you rig.
