Nice boost pedal. Do yourself a favor and start with the EQ off. Dial in your tone using the boost and tight knob then turn on the EQ and see if you can dial in something that gives you what you’re looking for. If not you will now have a 200 dollar clean boost. Watch the treble knob in the EQ section. It effects your tone big time. Too much treble and you get a very “high fi” stereo sound. I dialed it back a bit and my hard rock/blues lead boost i wax looking for popped right in. Friedman builds good stuff.

"Quietest boost pedal I've ever used in front."

Put it in front of my Origin 50H using it as a clean boost. I run my ORI 50 hard, volume and gain at 2:30pm. It's plugged into a GB loaded 412. Using my EC1000 with Dimarzio SD's.Phenomenal sounding boost. Really quiet. I don't need more than hard rock saturation so I focus on dynamics. Getting some great harmonic overtones that sing as long as I hold string. Great crunchy textures with this amp. From early break up, midgain, then ballzy hard rock. Thumpy and clear, warm and fat. Barking, biting and squealing using the guitar volume/tone pots.Just scratching the surface of mixing it with this set up. My fav attribute of the pedal is having solid dynamics. A players pedal. The ORIGIN 50/Buxom B is finding plexi/JTM territory, feel and response wise. Definitely vintage Marshall tones happening. My fingers hurt from wringing the neck.
