Nice upgrades to an already awesome interface. The AIR preamp option, plus the added OUTS, made this a serious replacement for the Clarett. We have purchased two of the 18i8 units and both work fine in Windows. We use the 18i8, also an RME Babyface Pro, with various analog and optical preamps, and the Focusrite has become a real fave. Great music can be recorded with these.

You won't find a better, more capable unit for the price. Ive used several other units and I used to be a Die-Hard "Blue product" customer using several of their interfaces over the past 15 years, this is leaps above and beyond any comparable interface from that company or any other.
