At first I skeptical about making the switch from my Pro40, but Wow the preamps are nice clean and lower lantcy. The Loopback with optical was confusing for my first time, but very effective when I figured things out lol and Oh it’s faster than thunder bolt with USB C In case you guys are worried.

"Where is the Thunderbolt model?"
Focusrite got rid of their thunderbolt clarett 8 pre and made a new one for $3k. I spoke to a rep earlier and they said their old thunderbolt models weren't making them enough money. I would pay $1K for a clarett 8 pre only if it's thunderbolt. It sucks because they had a great product for a great price and focusrite threw it out the window. If I'm going to pay $3k for an audio interface its going to be a apollo.
