"Good starter guitar."

This will not be my go to guitar once I learn to play better. I will probably pass this guitar on to a friend that is wanting to learn. Next time I will spend a bit more and go with a non-laminated guitar, maybe a Takamine or an Epiphone. For the price, and for a beginner, this guitar is a good starting point.
Sound
For an inexpensive guitar the sound is very good. I replaced the strings as soon as I got it with some Clapton Martin strings and that helped a lot.
Features
No real features, unless you count the case, which is very nice.
Ease of Use
I am a beginner but have tried playing several different guitars and I found this one to be very playable...the neck is very fast and smooth.
Quality
For an inexpensive guitar with a case this guitar was a nice surprise. The case was very nice, the body looks clean, the finish is very good. My only trouble was when I was changing strings...it was the hardest I have ever changed. The pegs did not want to stay in the holes...they kept popping out. After a long struggle, the strings finally stayed put and the sound is very nice. As a beginner guitar this really does the trick, but of course I will be upgrading as I learn.
Value
For the price this guitar is a great deal...especially with the nice case. It is not the best guitar of course, but you get your moneys worth. If you want a descent starter guitar this is a good one, but don't expect it to be your only guitar.
Manufacturer Support
I have not had to deal with Fender but working with Zzounds is always a pleasure. Any time I have a question they are quick to give me the right answer.
The Wow Factor
Looks are always a matter of opinion but I think it looks very nice. I got it in natural and am very happy with the looks.

"Its chinese but unbeliveably awesome"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
It's one hell of a guitar for the price and what you get.
Sound
THe reason i gave the sound a 8 is because it has minor fret buzz, but i have yet to play an acoustic that dosent buzz. This chinese made Fender suits my style perfectly, I'm in a Death Metal band but i also play a lot of classical music such as Led Zeppelin and Johnny Cash. It's a great guitar.
Features
Yes the guitar came with a wrench and a really nice case.
Ease of Use
yes the guitar suits my style and its easy to create your own sound from it. My Uncle Has A Gibson Acoustic which cost around 1500 dollars and he liked this fender better saying it had a real unique tone to it. He now has one as a cheap acvoustic for playing around campfires ratrher than using his gibson.
Quality
It is very well done i have not seen any blemishes in the finish at all, everything seems to be cordinated and it has a beautiful finish.
Value
For the price your getting a lot the case it comes with is very well made and extremly nice in and out its nicer than the case my Jackson RR1 Came in. For the way the guitar plays feels and looks plus a super nice case it probably the best value for a well made acoustic.

"amazing guitar! [original title, i know]"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
i expect this guitar to last a long time. it hasnt given me a problem yet and i dont see it doing so any time soon.
Sound
the sound is very crisp and bold. the only thing i have to say about the sound is it doesnt respond to fingerpicking as well as a higher end acoustic. still its amazing sound for a china made guitar.
Features
a wrench and a really nice case.
Ease of Use
this guitar is very easy to play. very encouraging as you play it.
Quality
this guitar is made very well and looks amazing. ive had it for a little over 9 months and nothing has gone wrong with it. while cleaning it one day part of the pickguard bent up tho. =/ i will very likely use this guitar in gigs and such.
Value
this is an amazing guitar for the price! it comes with a case, which is even better.
The Wow Factor
the first thing that caught my eye was the beautiful sunburst. ive always been partial to sunburst tho. after that i noticed it was an acoustic-electric, which made it better and then i played it...lets just say it didnt take me long to pull the money outta my pocket.

a long time but, this won't be my final guitar purchase.
Sound
The Sound is fantastic but the strings tend to rattle a lot.
Features
The Chrome Tuners were out of this world, and the beautiful sunburst looks even better in person.
Value
yeah i mean you are paying 200 clams for it. you get what you pay for in this item.
Manufacturer Support
no i didn't deal with the people but i hear that they're excellent.
The Wow Factor
its a magnificent piece of craftsmanship. But then again, it's merely a guitar.

Fender CD-60 Acoustic Customer Review

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
At this time I'm loving the guitar and can't imagine to switch, I might be in a bit of a honeymoon phase though but I haven't really found any weaknesses. The one thing I'm not satisfied with is the slight fret buzz I get at the 14th fret and the 5th and 6th string when playing slighty higher up the neck, however, this is something I'm planning to get fixed at my local music store.
Sound
I love the rich and unique tone and even though I tried some really expensive guitars (for reference), before I decided to buy this one, I must say that I like the sound from the Fender more.
Features
I've only had the guitar for 4-5 days and the only adjustments I've done was to the truss rod which went just fine, the tuners works great too.
Ease of Use
I bought this guitar from Germany and it shipped overseas to Sweden where I live. When it arrived the action felt really high and it was heavy to play. I'm a complete novice when it comes to guitars (this is my first one) and I have during my 2 years of play the Ukulele never touched anything regarding setup or action. I can't remember the exact action but I think the information I received with the guitar said something about 2.55mm on the 14th fret and 6th string, I actually don't know if this is high or not but it felt so to me. I watched some videos on youtube and decided to adjust the truss rod, it actually proved to be quite a bit of an upward bow when I looked at the neck and as I learned later the dual-action truss rod was tightened to make a truss rod. I simply tightened it the other way and the neck became straight as an arrow and the action is now wonderful! I haven't measured the action but I can barely get a quarter inbetween the 12th fret and the 5th and 6th string, this is what the guy in the video recommended and I just love it. The guitar went from a really hard-playing guitar to a guitar that I can closest compare to a woman, you just need to gently caress it and it will make beautiful sounds!
Quality
My guitar haven't really been up to test in this area but it seems really sturdy without being clumsy or heavy.
Value
Out of all the guitars I played in the same pricerange before deciding for this one, the CD-60 was clearly on top, mainly because of the rich tone.
