"Great Sounding Amp!"

I play at home and wanted an amp that would have great sound and not kill my ears and this is it! The moment I plugged my AS Stratocaster into this amp I was in heaven. It's quiet and very sensitive to your touch. The attenuator works perfectly cutting the power down to about one quarter. It has a swampy, sweet tone and breaks up easily at lower volumes. I usually keep the volume on the amp at 7-8 and control the volume on the guitar. I'm using a reverb pedal with it and it sounds so sweet! It is perfect with my AS Telecaster also. Did I say perfect!!! The best amp I have ever owned. The tremolo is kind of neat but I really don't use it except for noodling around. I also have a PRS McCarty and it sounds ok but not great like the single coil Fenders. The humbuckers tend to break up too early and doesn't have that glassy tone that the single coils have. I never really bonded with the humbuckers though. I have no problem paying a grand to have this sound. I absolutely love this amp. Every time I sit down to practice I never want to stop!

When I first read about the Eric Clapton Signature Fender amps I figured I would not buy one due to the pricing. Then ZZounds made the $100/month for 10 month offer & I caved. Boy am I glad I did! The tone of this amp is stunning. Although I often use a number of different effect pedals, I have found myself practicing more & more often with nothing in the signal path but a cable. I prefer the sound of this amp over my custom, hot-rodded Twin Reverb. It is nice to be able to get such a great tone & still be able to stand in front of the amp. I can go into my studio, get a great cranked tone & my wife doesn't say a thing. I have fallen in love with the tremolo on this amp. Even though you only have a speed control the sound & depth is perfect (been practicing my "For What It's Worth" a lot). What a great sounding amp.

I currently play my Taylor T5z through (on the acoustic side) a Vox AG30, and for the electric side, the Vibro Champ. The tone is so rich and deep for a small amp, and I tend to use the lowest tremolo setting to get that very unique effect that is very clean. The tube rectifier adds the "sag" that differentiates the VC from my Vox AC15CP1 and my Marshall DSL15C. Worth Every Penny, and the workmanship is tops and all American. Only wish it had reverb!

Great guitar amp for the living room or bedroom playing. Easy to take on work trips and vacations. Sounds truly amazing like a 10 in amp but more portable. The hand wiring is something special as well, the clean and dostorted tones sound more natual. The amp also has natuaral reverb when the volume is cranked past five. I keep it in the living room and when inspiration hits, I just plug in and play, its that easy to get a perfect tone.

The Fender EC Vibro is one great amp! I did a lot of researched before buying and I'm not disappointed. I love this amp. It's full of great sounds. I know it's pricey, but it's worth saving up for.

It sounds nice, okay? Nice! But the price insults a working musician's intelligence.I don't have a big wallet, but I do own a $1000.00 Super Sonic and a Hot Rod Deluxe which I love. But for what you get, IDK. I think it's a waste of cash if you don't have money to throw around.
