It had been a while since I had a Japanese-made Fender and I'd never had a Jazzmaster before. I also love all things pink paisley, so I had to pull the trigger on this one. I do not regret it. I'm usually very picky about my gear, especially guitars. This one is literally perfect.Surprisingly lightweight (lighter than either my Strat or Tele!). The neck is truly wonderful: some of the best fret ends I've seen, gorgeous rosewood fretboard, and a very comfortable profile. The finish needs no introduction. It looks even better in person. Playability and sound are also exceptional. In my opinion, possibly the best deal for the money.

These are probably the highest value instrument possible. The finish feels amazing the color for me is perfect (Pink Paisley) and the pattern is excellent with reflective foil layer being the icing on an excellent and beautiful cake. The pick ups are the most smooth I've ever known such that everything else is a mere imitation. It puts them all to shame. The second circuit is a dream. In full it has a total of 6 marvelously smooth pickup settings. The neck feel and fingerboard is a lesson is being done right. Love the retro tuners. It just feels good. All this probably applies to all the 60s Jazzmasters. But I love the pink paisley. I wish they made various colored paisleys in the US. (Red, blue, green etc.) So everyone could get this unique artful instrument in a hue to suit.It was set up perfectly out of the box. EVERYTHING was done perfectly. The price is simply an offer that cannot be refused. The perfection and value is bar none for a one of a kind instrument. You simply can't go wrong.
