"Fender TC-90 Thinline Telecaster"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
This is a professional guitar in every aspect. The fit and finish is impeccable, and the neck, frets, bridge and nut are high quality and capable of being setup to any players desired specifications. The Seymour-Duncan P-90 pickups are bright, clear and capable of effectively reproducing quality tones for a variety of musical genres. This is definitely not a standard Fender guitar---but kudos to Fender for exploring new and unique designs.

"The meanest bluesaxe ever made !!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
This review has been selected by our experts as particularly helpful.
Ive owned and played many guitars. This is the best Ive ever had in my hands. This guitar is a bluesaxe. You wont need anything else except an amp. Idea: I have recently been playing through a Roland Cube 60. With the clean channel (JC120 emul.) and my TC90 the music is blues and the sentence life. I never use effects - they are for people that dont practise.
Sound
An array of tones out of this world. I play the blues, nothing else. With this axe I can say it all from singing slows with fat sauce to brutal but still clean bangs. It roars, it yells crie and sing so sweet. No effects are needed (reverb). This guitar are for lovemaking.
Features
semi-hollow double cut with 2 sweet SD p90. Mine is kinda white like summercream (yellow tint)and it is so beautiful that I have in the midle of the living room, where I can see it at all times.
Quality
Medium quality for 2005 standard. The jack came loose after 2 days. The tuners seems fragile and with high gearing, but the guitar stays in tune. Tone and vol knobs are the disguise for many diff. sounds and the p90 hears every single string evenly which makes the TC90 extremly useful in rythmmaking. But it really lives in solos with room for nuances (as opposite to noise)
Value
Once in a while you get across an offer you cant refuse because it simply is so good. This is one!!!

Fender TC90 Thinline Customer Review

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
This review has been selected by our experts as particularly helpful.
Sound
I really wish it had more high end, but then again if i wanted more twang i should have bought a strat or a tele but i didn't. I love the sounds this guitar puts out, the bridge pickup has a very punchy sound to it, with both pickups on, you get a pretty standard but full sound, and the neck pickup is smooth and bluesy. Great sounding guitar, the nice thing about the P-90s is that you don't have too much growl playing clean like w/ humbuckers, and they can give way more bite than a single coil when playing dirty.
Features
No case! Not that I expect one to be included, but there is no case in existence for this guitar and I wanna keep my baby lookin perfect! Only one volume and one tone knob, but that's all ya need. The neck is a DREAM, and the f-hole really makes this puppy loud.
Quality
The one I got came with locking tuners but I don't know if that's standard, but if it is, props to Fender. This is Fender, and although it's Korean made, it's fender quality. Solid as a rock, even with the semi-hollow body it's got a very nice solid weight to it. Great looks, great paint job on the white one and good quality hardware. Stays in tune very well if you get it set up well and you can set the action VERY low without getting any buzzing. The jack gets a little loose every now and then but u can tighten it in 2 seconds so I'm not complaining.
Value
This is worth the price, and is a very high quality guitar, but if you love a classic fender sound, spend the extra 180 to get an american strat or tele, because this is a very unique and great sounding guitar, but it's not ur typical fender at all.
