I'd love to give this amp a 5 star ++++ rating. The sounds are amazing. It offers faithful reproductions of all the classic Fender amps from the early 50's to present day, Ampeg SVT presets, Gallien-Krueger KGB-800, SWR Redhead, Tube Preamps, Marshalls, Oranges, and Hi-Watts. All useful. Rock, Metal, Jazz, Country, Motown, Funk, Soul, Latin, Fusion, Reggae...it's all covered. Plus, there's hundreds more online presets available, with 100 empty preset slots available on the amp.The 100 onboard presets include...- 20 Fender Rumble V3- 4 Fender Rumble v2- 9 Fender Bassman 300- 7 Early 50's Fender Bassman TV- 3 1959 Fender Bassman - 7 Fender Dual Showman- 8 Gallien Krueger KGB-800- 8 HiWatt/Marshall/Orange- 4 SWR Redhead- 13 Ampeg- 12 Preamp- 4 "Monster" (bizarro stuff)With all these great sounds, what's the negative? The Bluetooth and WiFi features. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Fender will correct these issues in a future firmware update. The WiFi literally will not connect to my home network, after at least a dozen tries. Google and YouTube offered very little help. The Bluetooth works, but randomly disconnects, and sometimes takes multiple attempts to connect and reconnect. There are workarounds, I suppose. I believe firmware updates could be done by hooking the amp up (via USB) to your computer. You can run an auxillary cord into the amp from your phone or tablet to play along with drum loops or songs. Even with these issues, the sounds alone are the selling point of this amp. It's pretty amazing.

Pretty fun amp. Bigger than I expected and pretty loud. The added features are pretty awesome. Being able to able to change tones is a lot of fun. You can really play anything with this amp. I’ve seen some reviews complaining that the Bluetooth didn’t work, but I think that’s just user error. Once you set up the blue tooth with device and the amp Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connection it works pretty great. Best amp purchase I’ve made. Can even pair it with the fender 800 if you want to go big. The sounds and effects seem endless. Its the gift that keeps giving. Super excited with this amp. I’m always skeptical and read all bad and good reviews before purchasing. Wasn’t sure when I ordered it but now I know I struck gold with this one.

I was one of the to purchase Rumble 500 and the then new stage 800. My first foray in the new light weight bass offerings. I loved the 500 for live. And the Stage 800 Is my go to. It is truly a work of genius. If you have front end, and without it packs a hefty punch even.w/o ext cab. I use my old phone as a preset control live with blue tooth, and I can edit each sound to match almost any situation. I've never experienced any lag, random disconnect, blue tooth failure. Remember to silence notification or you can 800 watts of your retirement alarm mid song. I swear it is game changer I previously used pre Fender SWR SM 900. 4X10 GOLIATH. I am anticipating using the ext cab for a special gig in November. I'll update my experience. I am thinking of purchasing the smaller Stage 40 for my home studio. I haven't decided if I'll retire from live appearance if I don't I'll keep the big stage downstairs near the door, and the smaller in my studio. That would be the 3rd Rumble series purchase, and probably last. I absolutely

I love this amp! Best amp for a small transistor model. Fender Tone app compatibility is cool also. If you have trouble connecting I reboot the amp and my cell phone and it will connect. You have to be in close proximity for the Fender Tone amp to work. ( May vary in different environment. The one down side to this amp is that it does not have an External output like the 800 but I guess you can only "stretch" 40 watts so far, so to say :)

I was extremely pleased with the next day free shipping with this product. This amp weighs nothing! Fenders latest bass amps are all like this and they are doing a great job with it. Set up was very quick, connected to wifi, updated software, connected bluetooth with the Fender app (android) and everything has worked flawlessly. The 99 preset sounds are pretty darn good and you can probably find something just to play with through these. Programming a sound is very easy. It is even easier using your phone to create sounds. I have been able to stop using any pedals so far with this amp due to all of the effects built into the digital processor. I do use the Fender MGT4 footswitch and it opens up the use of the amp to a whole new level. The outputs give this amp the ability to connect to just about anything. I can see using this as a stage monitor, hooked through the pa for an amazing bass sound. Buy this amp....you will be pleased.

Killer modeling amp. Had 30 minutes on break for work to test it out. Ran a cheap ass Jackson guitar through it, dialed in a killer dimed Marshall jcm tube tone straight out the box. Ran an 85 Rickenbacker 4001 through the same settings, instant Lemmy tone. Wifi and Bluetooth work great, easy to set up. Getcha pull

This thing is buggier than a bat turd. Fender's customer service is virtually non existent. It only reliably connects about a 1/4 of the time. Sounds great when it does work. But, that is hit and miss at best. There is no tone app for the rumble studio 40 for windows.
