Picked up the Fender Super Champ X2 head and did not like the fact that matching cab was sealed in the back. For only $49.99 more I chose the Fender Bassbreaker 112 cabinet which is a solid poplar wood cabinet (not sealed pressed wood like the SC112 Super Champ X2 cab ) and has the V-type Celestion speaker! The back can be removed to access the speaker (unlike the SC112). This cab sounds amazing!!!

like the previous reviewer, I have a Fender Super Champ X2 head. I had been running a handmade 2x10 plus 2x5 a friend built, but it just had too much low end for my apartment playing. I had considered the matching cab for it, but then I looked at this one, which seemed a bit more versatile and better quality. taking the previous reviewer's opinion as confirmation that this was a good choice, I went ahead and ordered this. it sounds AMAZING. I get much more sparkle, spank and overdrive nuance out of this than my other cab. the only drawback for this slightly mismatched combination is that the feet on the Super Champ head are a hair too short to set it on top of the cab without the handle lifting it up. so account for that if you're considering putting the two together.
