Was not sure if I was going to like the gold on it. But with the natural maple it looks great. Sounds great right out of the box, just had to tune it. You can not beat this guitar for the price!

I have dreamed of owning this guitar since I first played one 3 years ago. Since I've received it I have rarely put it down. Out of the box, the setup and action were spot on! After tuning, it has been a solid performer. Because the body is all maple it's sound is brighter than most acoustics. With the on board electronics it is all too easy to dial in the exact sound you're looking for. An amazing guitar at any price!
Sound
Spot on tone! I have always loved the tone of an all maple guitar. It matches up perfectly with my playing (finger style) and the sustain seems to last forever. Plugged in it's a breeze to get just the right sound you're looking for.
Features
Aside from the all maple body, the C neck profile is so much easier to play as opposed to the more common D neck profiles of my other acoustics. The sealed tuners are a nice touch. They make string changes a little easier. I am not a fan of coated strings so I changed them to Ernie Ball Earthwood Phosphor Bronze light, size 11's. The built in tuner is a big plus.
Ease of Use
The on board electronics are really good. I can get a clean, louder acoustic signal to other acoustic tones even some crunchy electric guitar sounds. It's very easy to dial in that classic Stratocaster spank to play leads. One of the easiest necks to fret notes on and the body cutout gives ample access to the upper frets.
Quality
I could find no shoddy workman ship in the construction; seam lines, excess glue loose or hard to use components. The finish is flawless. I love that there is NOT a pick guard and scratches polish out easily.
Value
The value is unbelievable! The guitar could demand a much higher price point with it's quality and sound and aesthetics.
Manufacturer Support
This is a Fender guitar. Take the time to register your guitar on Fender's website. Once you do you will enjoy a whole new level of customer service, satisfaction and understanding.
The Wow Factor
The appointments and the amazing flame maple look would make me want it without ever hearing it. It's what attracted me to it in the first place. The first comment everyone makes after seeing it for the first time " Wow! I bet that cost you a bundle!"

I had a maple Taylor and loved it but was always disappointed with the sound. I still wanted a maple guitar though. After seeing the Fender on zZounds and reading reviews I decided to buy one. It got here about 30 minutes ago. The reviews were right on, I'm in love. It is a great guitar. Easy to play, sounds great. Very good value.

Make no mistake this is a very impressive looking guitar. But it is plywood,no solid wood here and it sounds like a plywood guitar. No clarity of tone or articulation, its a boomer. If you amp. it you will need a sound hole plug. The nut on mine chiped and broke off in 2 months of playing, the factory set up was poor. For this kind of money,my advice is buy a solid wood top guitar.
