The fender cd140sce 12 string guitar is more than it looks like. It is very well put together. Set up is spot on out of the box. Tuned up right away, after playing it, needed little bit of tuning again. But then it stayed in tune. The sound unplugged is very bright and clean. Great lows and highs, as it sings out like a choir. I can't wait to see how it does as the solid spruce top ages. The fret board is easy to play up and down the board. The guitar feels solid but not bulky, very comfortable to play. Frets are well dressed and no sharp points. It is darker on the top than the pictures show. In the photos it looks like it's a lighter blond color. But upon getting it, it's a nice beige color that really shows the grain. This is a great guitar, I highly recommend it. zZounds is amazing. They sent it in two days. This is my seventh guitar from them. They are simply the best. The hard case is okay, not great, but still worth it. I would buy this guitar again. Can't go wrong, it's a keeper.

The fender cd-140sce 12 string guitar, was a pleasant surprise. It's easy to play and stays in tune. I was sceptical as one review said it has many issues. But he must have gotten a odd one. This guitar I got is nothing but well built. I was very happy to see it was a darker tan color than in the pictures. Love the dark rosewood back and sides. The set up,was spot on right of the box. Tuner is spot on as well as is the pre amp. It sings like a choir when played. Unplugged it is very loud, not surprised as it's a dreadnaught. Plugged in and it goes to a next level. Highly recommend this guitar, and zZounds as they have excelled beyond my expectations.

I really didn't expect much considering how little I paid. Excellent action right out of the box, no setup required. The neck is comfortable and slender. I was really surprised by the tone- when I purchased it I thought it was laminate sides and back. I was so pleased when I found it was Rosewood. For the money you can't beat it.

I had to adjust the neck...the action was higher than I wanted..I made a slight twerk to the neck and all of a sudden the guitar won't stay in tune. It took forever to tune it to begin with ...and then after a few minutes of playing it would sound like it was never tuned.......Fender usually makes great products but this one has fallen short of the bar that they set. It looks great but having to spend more time tuning than playing is a deal breaker.
