"Surprise finding! Hendrix played one!"
I had an original 1966 in Sky Blue back in the day, when I couldn't play my way out of a paper bag, so to speak. Tremolo, cool color, light weight, and I basically learned how to play lead on this guitar. The little switches add to it's retro vibe, and this latest version in 3 tone sunburst is a knock-out! Price looks good by today's standings, and a good value. Jimi Hendrixc played this guitar exclusively on "Axis" Bold As Love". "Little Wing" and all the rest of those songs on a Fender Mustang guitar!
Musical Background:
I have played guitar for over 40 years, along with bass and piano. I have played professionally, but these days I gig part time
Musical Style:
Blues, Rock and Jazz.

"Needs upgrades."
The bridge is jangly and almost unusable, i switched it out asap. The pickups are also toneless- switched those out too. Tremolo is also garbage so I bolted it in place. Other than that, the feel of the guitar is awesome. Very small, which is really fun to play for me. I think it's a 3.5/5 star guitar
Musical Background:
played for a long time
Musical Style:
none
