Id like to start by saying I bought one of these in seafoam green when zzounds first got them. Its gorgeous-the blend knob is an awesome feature that really gives you total control over the natural sound of the guitar.the pickups arent muddy-distorted or clean they sound amazing and can cover all bases whether you opt for twangy single coil or humbucker tone with perfect breakup and awesome even response. I mustve watched at least a hundred videos or scoured the internet for user reviews prior to purchasing every electric ive owned and this ones one of my favorites out of an ever growing collection. my only gripe is bc of my own lack of familiarity with the microtilt system. the neck on this has a slight creaking noise when moving around with the guitar.....it probably needs adjusting as it was shipped that way but its hard to even find videos that break it down into average joe terms. nonetheless outside of that little deal, the neck is as comfortable as your average telecaster and plays nice and smooth. zzounds is an awesome company to do business with as for the past 4 years just about theyve been my go to source. the thinline carbonita telecaster is a similar playing axe that I bought around the same time as this that id also recommend. again-this company has never left a bad impression on me with any of the stuff ive ever bought from them. sweetwater refuses to price match and claims their corksniffing snoody "great customer service" and setups on instruments are why they refuse to compete with companies like this. anytime ive spoke with a zzounds rep on the phone it was straight to business and the staff are friendly. anyway, awesome guitar. id buy one in sunburst if I didnt just go for two guild acoustics :). only gave manufacturer support three stars bc ive never used them.

"Awesome Guitar"

I own some incredibly special guitars (Fender Custom Shop 1950's Nocaster Tele Thinline, Gretsch 6120 1959LTV, etc) and this inexpensive Fender Pawnshop 72 might be the best guitar I own dollar for dollar. The neck is intoxicatingly nice (at least mine is). So sweet to play. Really fun. And I love the way it looks. Cool, funky color and design. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this guitar. It's a whole lot of guitar for the money.

Anything that I think sounds good and is challenging to play. I love rock, country, jazz, blues, rockabilly...
