Great looks and features and sounds GREAT. I would put this right in category with "superior" Manufacturers like Darkglass and TECH 21 but is very much made for those what need old-school "Fender" tone for their current gig. Is not a tiny box by any means still fits in hard case without issue. Not at all difficult to replace the old Eden WTDI with this much sturdier unit.I do find that the OD is just a bit on the abrasive side when overdoing the gain - dialing it back to about 8 O'clock and slowly blending it is is pretty magic for those not looking for hi-gain bass tones, but again this is a Fender box and I'm sure this was factored in with design.Compressor is extremely musical, easily dialed in and perfect for "always on" operation but will need a gate on the channel if you like extremely squashed "Ross"& "Orange Squeeze" like tones. The harmonic transients leap off the fretboard. Among the best non-single effect compressor I have used and definitely easiest to dial in for beginnersA couple of notes: when DI is after effects, output is slaved to Master Vol. VERY IMPORTANT: Does not have a battery option and does not come with a power supply. I found this extremely annoying as a bassist who ordered this strictly for use as a DI for fly dates and all other effects are built into my head for home town shows. Was quite a pain to open the box and find I was unable to use a new purchase because the manufacturer decided to save a whopping $2.00 (or less in bulk) on a power solution that would easily have fit in the packaging.
