"I raise my goblet of ROCK..."

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars

Hopefully this will last me a long time, it's a well made product. Obviously I'll buy other things in the future. I mean, if I ever play Madison Square Gardens a 65 watt combo ain't gonna cut it. But for shakin' up the house, I'll stick with my FM 65
Sound
Amp sounds great, especially for the money. It gets a decent low end punch in the drive channel that works well for modern stuff, and the clean channel is great as well. This is definitely a rock amp. If your looking to play bluegrass, look again. It gets good power (you can get over a drummer just fine) but remains very portable, which is important to most of us who lack road crews and equipment vans.
Features
Pretty straightforward. If you need wacky effects, get a pedal, they're better.
Quality
Fender hasn't been in business for decades by making crap...this one's well built.
Value
For the money, this amp is awesome. I considered other more expensive products, but they didn't sound good enough to warrant spending hundreds more than what this one costs. I would've spent more on this if it had cost more, but I'm glad it was inexpensive.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't needed support, but there's a 5 year warranty, which is good.
The Wow Factor
Obviously nothing says Rock and Roll like a full Marshall stack, but this amp looks pretty tough, even if it's a little on the small side. I'm sure the 2x12 100W version looks even cooler.

"Outstanding amp"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I've been with my Fender FM 65r for eleven years now, beautiful clean sounds totally recommend it for modulation effects, the overdrive gets all It's potential on low gain sounds like blues or even hard rock, but it doesn't work well with metal or distortion pedals.
Sound
Totally great sounding for everything that requieres clean sounds or low gain overdrives
Features
It has only one effect featured, which It's a Spring reverb that adds alot of presence to the sound
Ease of Use
Exremely easy to use
Quality
Outstanding quality for the price1
Value
Worth the price, actually very worth
Manufacturer Support
I Haven't used it yet
The Wow Factor

"Fender FM65R :D"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I will probably have this amp as a practice amp until it breaks. I do plan on buying a half stack combo but that's just for live performance. This amp is a great practice/small jam amp.
Sound
It's the bet sounding amp I have had. With a little knowledge on how to work the onboard EQ you can get a variety of quality sounds from this amp.
Features
It has enough but, it could have a mid EQ knob for the clean channels.
Ease of Use
Extremely simple to use.
Quality
I've had this amp for about half of a year and there is nothing wrong with it. It's is a sturdy build and has maintained it's sound and speaker quality after pushing it just a little too far :).
Value
I payed very little money for this quality amp.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't had to deal with them yet because it works so fine. Voted 5 just because it's the even vote.
The Wow Factor
It doesn't look the sharpest but hey, don't judge a book by its cover. It sounds amazing.

"Decent Amp."

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
This Amp is great for someone who doesn't need much loud sound although this Amp will get pretty loud.
Sound
2 Channels - Clean/Drive. Clean works great with Effect Pedals. Drive is okay, but don't expect good metal sound.
Features
This is a standard Amp. that gives decent features. Reverb is the only onboard effect which works well.
Quality
I know Fender to make quality products, but this is exceptionally well done.
Value
This is great for the price. I wouldn't pay more and I would say it's worth about 170$.
Manufacturer Support
I havn't needed to reach the company and I've own their products for years. All of them were satisfactory.
The Wow Factor
It looks very well built and clean, nothing fancy though.

"Amazing Product"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars

This review has been selected by our experts as particularly helpful.
If I ever buy another amp, it will be many years from now and probably a fender head and cabinet. I wont buy anything but fender amps from now on.
Sound
This amp sounds amazing. One of the most fullest sounding amps ive heard besides a marshall cabinet. May be only 65 watts but it sure packs a punch.
Features
Just a drive channel. Nothing special, I use effects pedals anyways. Drive is crisp, but gets distorted when played loud.
Ease of Use
Simple to use. Nothing required to setting it up.
Quality
Fender amps look and are made with great quality.
Value
Excellent value for the money. I paid 300 canadian for this amp. Wouldn't want to spend the money on anything else.
Manufacturer Support
Never dealt with them.
The Wow Factor
Looks like an amp should. Quality upholstery and non resonant wood.

"Sounds like a Fender tube amp!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
This review has been selected by our experts as particularly helpful.
Outstanding deal on this piece of sound equipment. This could easily serve as my basic amp for a wide range of venues.
Sound
I am a tube-amp lover and have always gravitated to tube amps because of their WARM sound, so this thing really surprised me when I test drove it at Guitar Center. It's the best sounding solid state guitar amp I have played. It sounds pretty damn good. It has really good smooth distortion, is bright and very punchy, and has so much bass available, it has to be dialed back to keep it under control-- similar to a tube amp. It is louder than you might expect. Keep this amp on the floor for a fatter tone.
Features
For me, the simpler the better. Effects, et cetera should come from separate devices like stomp pedals, not from the amp. So the various built-in effects are extraneous for me, although they sound adequate. The best feature is its two switchable channels, but it's small size and light weight are good practical features one might overlook.
Ease of Use
The controls are straight forward and easy to use.
Quality
The knobs and switches felt good, not wimpy. And the cabinet seems sturdy enough. I just tried this amp out; I don't own one, so I can't comment beyond this.
Value
I had to do a double-take on two issues regarding this amp: 1)After playing it, I had to confirm that it was a solid state amp, not a tube amp--because it sounded that good. 2)I checked the price again to confirmed that this was a new amp and for only $200! This is the best deal on a good sounding amp I've seen. I'm a tone freak, the warmer the tone the better (I play jazz, blues, R&B, Latin rock, ect). This would do the job for me no problem. After engaging a couple of effects, even the tube amp die-hards wouldn't be able to tell that this thing is solid state.
Manufacturer Support
None applicable.
The Wow Factor
Yes, I do want one.

"Pretty Good practice amp"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Good amp for practicing on only. NOT GOOD FOR ANY PERFORMANCES.
Sound
This amp has a very "airy" distortion sounds which kinda sucks plus it gives a lot of feedback when using pedals. It makes a great practice amp, though.
Features
The features are very basic. Nothin specific.
Ease of Use
Counldn't possibly be any easier.
Quality
Very well made practice amp.
Value
Not bad- a bit overpriced.
Manufacturer Support
I have a fender strat but upgraded to an Ibanez steve vai jem. Overall fender is pretty good.
The Wow Factor
looks cool for a practice amp.
