Fender Telecaster guitars are iconic all on their own merits. This creation from Fender is a true mind bender. It takes all of the good stuff you've become accustomed to and put them into a beautiful package topped off with a handsome slab of maple on the top. The next part of this beautiful equation is the Tim Shaw designed pickups. In my opinion Shaw was the best addition to the Fender engineering staff. I was so totally blown away by the way the single coil bridge and Shaw-bucker work together. Switching between pickups is very consistent with no change in volume when switching. The satin neck makes you feel right and home too. Last but not least is the weight and balance of this instrument. It is as close as it gets to perfection. The build quality is superb. If you are looking for a Tele with the kind of twist you'll like, try the 'Rarities Series' from Fender.
