This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. So many jazzmaster mustangs and jaguars have made their way thru my hands but this is the one. I know everyone has hang ups about Mexican made and American made but this is the legit real deal I have always preferred Japanese or Mexican made they always miss the mark or add on or change things with the American stuff. The 60s profile with vintage frets there is no better neck made for a guitar and the pickups are just absolutely wonderful I can play anything my heart desires. Wish it came with a hard shell case but i bought one anyways well worth it. Truly finally in love with a guitar purchase I’ve owned probably 30 different electric guitars but this turquoise jaguar is the one for me. Thank you fender. Seriously.

I am a sucker for offset's. I own multiples of the whole fender line of offsets, Jaguar included. As far as Jaguars go, I have a 1962 Jaguar, MIJ Jaguar, Cobain Jaguar, Johnny Mar Jaguar, and Player Jaguar, now this Vintera 60s Jaguar. It's got the feel, sound, and vibe of my 62, and I don't have to worry about it. The aesthetics are great, I love the matching headcap, which is a huge selling point for me. I love the 7.25" neck radius with gloss finish. That neck type is my favorite feel, as well as look. I bought a blemished version, and after inspection, i can't identify any blemishes on the guitar. Props to zZounds for that. Guitar came almost perfect out of the box. No intonation issues, no buzzes, no fret issues. Action was a little high for my taste, but that was an easy fix. Sounds great, just like you want a jaguar to sound. Stock pickups sound fantastic, and I fins absolutely no need to change them out. Electronics are great in both circuits. Volume and tone knobs work as they should, with full control across the dials, not just the last 1/8th or 1/4 turn like some guitars. All in all, I highly recommend the guitar. It's perfect. With sound, look, and feel it's easily my favorite jag, aside from my 62 original.

"Finally"
I got a really light weight one with straight symmetrical wood grain. It’s exactly what I wanted. I own American Vintage guitars and a Custom Shop Tele, and if you get a great one, I feel that Mexican Fenders are right there with the American made. I’ve owned MIM vintage reissues in the past and they were excellent, but these Vintera models blow my mind. This Jaguar has as great of a tone as any guitar I’ve ever played. It’s as twangy and ringy as it gets but full and alive. Any setting sounds great. It mixes with any overdrive and compression pedal I use. The only thing, I hope someone makes a red tortoise guard that fits perfectly. There’s not much more I can say. I’m in love with this Jaguar.

The vintera jaguar is beautiful. However it came with a broken tuning peg. Whoever strung this at the factory should be fired. 2nd 1000 plus dollar guitar from fender that either came dinged or poorly soldered

I’ve owned a 1964 and a 1965 Jaguar plus a few reissues and the sound and playability of this “Vintera” is spot on Jag! These Made in Mexico Jaguars come with a screw in tremolo bar- even vintage Jaguar guitars have just a drop in tremolo. I still don’t know what Vintera means...

When it arrived, I was stunned by it's beauty right out of the box. I've been doing guitar setups for 40 years, and worked as the guitar tech at a local music store. When it arrived, the first thing I did was install Seymour Duncan Antiquity pickups, locking tuners, roller bridge, and even added a micro tilt mechanism. I should have held off on the mods. Try as I may, I could NOT get a decent action out of this guitar. It was like playing a cheese slicer. No amount of truss rod tweaking, or anything else I tried would bring the strings down to a decent playing height. I would have returned it, but the mods I did voided the warranty. Huge disappointment for me. I traded it for a B.C. Rich Mockingbird.
