I ordered the black on black color scheme. It looks fantastic. Im not usually a fan of zebra style humbuckers but the black/chrome look is admittedly pretty cool. Pity they dont sound anywhere near as cool as they look. The blacktop pickups are overly bassy and lack definition. The coil split is a cool option but would be put to better use on better pickups. The neck pickup is completely useless. Even when the pickup is lowered as far as possible and split its a muddy sounding piece of s--t. The neck feels great minus a few minor sharp frets on the underside between the 12th and 21st frets. Some light sanding should fix that. Im putting a Duncan JB/Jazz set and some looking tuners on this thing this weekend. After the swap and a proper setup i imagine this thing will log some serious mileage with me. Hope the review was helpful.
