Upon arrival and unboxing I noticed the plus top finish was much more defined than in the pictures. Its beautiful!!! Hardly any tuning was required and it was off to the races. It plays even better then it looks. The fret board is extremely player freindly with an amazing tonal range and sustain. The guitar itself is very light and comfortable. The only drawback is I wish I would have gotten one with a floyd rose bridge for better trem options. Overall the value, sound, and apperance is second to none. I highly recommend this guitar to anyone that has been playing for awhile or just starting out. Thanks zZounds

Bought this guitar as a modification platform. Not that the parts in it are bad in anyway. I just wanted to save some money and get a good strat traditional strat sound. The finish is great the neck is also great. But as soon as I bent some of the strings they slid off the nut. I have never had this happen before. The action was already low, so this concerns me. I looked at the nut, and it seems they started to cut the slots in the nut but never completed the cut. There were only tiny microscopic slits in it. Yet it somehow passed inspection from Fender? I have heard about the constant set up issues recently from Fender but I have never seen such a huge oversight as this in 28 years of playing guitar.
Sound
If you are a blues guy like myself then this is not the guitar for you. If you are a modern player looking for a modern sound then this will fit in well for what you may be looking for.
Features
The pickups are not bad but it is more for a modern player. Well assembled electronics however
Ease of Use
The playability is good, feels great in the hands.
Quality
The nut was not slotted. But issue here
Value
The price for this guitar in relation to the setup and oversight on its manufacturing was not great at all. Smaller budget companies are doing a better job at this moment which makes me kinda sad.
Manufacturer Support
Contacted fender about the issue with the nut, and they said it was not an issue and told me to pay a luthier to have it fixed
The Wow Factor
The appeal of this product I would say at this point is the name on the headstock and the top was really nice.
