First off I've been playing over 3 decades. I've owned a lot of mim fenders In those years. I had my favorites and had some not so good. The work on this bass was amazing. It was worth every penny I spent and haven't put it down very much at all. It is very much comparative to the American fenders I've owned. I am a huge musicman fan and fender has definitely got on board and put something out to compete. The electronic are top notch. The bridge kicks any other fender bass bridge off the side of the road. The neck is smooth as silk and feels like my favorite musicman bass.im impressed and plan to buy another. I may buy American made next time but this bass will still be in my stable. Only minor adjustment were done when I got it which pleased me very well. Very much worth every dime to have the fender feel and legacy in ur hands. Don't just take my word for it get one.

I have had mine about a month, it is the natural with maple neck. at first I was disappointed with the sound. I put a set of 50- 135 XL nickle wounds on it and it made a BIG difference. Also adjusted the truss rods just a little. love the size and balance of it. I play through a GK 1001 RB 2, and a Peavey TKO 15, and it sounds great out of both. It will be my go-to bass until a prettier one comes along. I love the looks of the natural slab with maple neck. I play Gospel and country mostly. great purchase for the money.

Musical Background:

60 yrs., Guitar, Bass. retired from proffesional playing. still play in Church praise band.
