I love Teles. I was without one and had been shopping the various models for a while. SO many choices - pickups, neck style/radius, S-1 or no, American, MIM, etc. I wanted an old school strat, brass saddles, no S-1, hot pickups and a slinky neck. People knock the 7.25" radius because they haven't played it. The neck on this thing is old school sweet, and you can totally bend the notes up the neck past the 12th fret, thinking the narrow tall frets help with that. Anyway, on with the review - this guitar is super smooth to play, can get incredibly hot and sassy if you want but can easily back off with a tweak of the volume and tone controls to clean up beautifully. Relic'd finish was on point and not over done, the thing just feels great in your hands and sounds even better. I personally believe this is the very best value in a Telecaster that Fender currently has to offer. BUY IT! Because Zzounds has the best return policy in the business if I've overstated anything, but if I'm lyin' I'm dyin' cuz this axe is IT!
