This guitar is without doubt the best I have ever owned. Playing professionally for several years now, I've gone through several different makes and models, but have never felt as at home as I do now with this Tele. Thank you Fender. You have proven yourself superior.

Musical Background:

I have been playing for 30+ years. Along with guitar, I play clarinet. I play professionally

Musical Style:

I prefer blues and rock, but on a few occasions, I'll venture the jazz route

i love this guitar. yeah its made in mexico, yeah it came shoddily set up from the factory, yeah its got issues, but man does it sound great! When i got this imhad a a,erican deluxe tele that i love, but swapped the neck pickup out for a seymour duncan jazz, butnit wasnt fat enough for me, so i decided to try this baby. It came shipped in the box, set up was non existent. The truss rod was loose and the neck was severely bowed, the output wires were wrapped around the output jack so,the cable couldnt be plugged in amd no sound was coming out. The action and itonation was way off. But when i set it up properly and changed the tuners, this baby rocks. Got so much low end compared to my am delux tele. Very thick and yet snappy tone. Not loose like a Gibson, or hoopy like a jazzmaster, but somewhere in between. I love this guitar clean, and overdrive can get very thick distortion. Dont bother with the american reiisue this one is worth it if you can set it up.

Musical Style:

alternative rock, ambient rock, shoegaze,

I am one of the few people that acutally had that guitar that I bought in 1973. I have owned many brands of guitars, including a Strat, a Gibson les paul and a Gibson SG. This tele deluxe with the fender HH pickups is the greatest guitar ever. It is very versatile and you can play any type of music with it. The e string can come off the neck, but once you get used to that, you will not notice it.

Musical Background:

Been plucking guitar for 45 years. I jam at home at the present time

Musical Style:

I play rock, blues, Christian, smooth /funk jazz

"Awesome guitar with excellent sound and value."

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars

Beautiful sound and excellent value for the money. Worth a lot more than what I paid.
Sound
Excellent sound. I thought the 3 position knob may not offer me a lot of choices, but to the contrary it is awesome. I like position 1 and 3. 1 offers a very sweet glassy sound and 3 offers a fat sound. Very smooth frets. It has a fatter neck. The bottom string (High E) doesn't have too much room at the bottom of the fret board. It takes a little bit of practice to not bend the bottom string further down as it will move out of the fret board. Once you get used to it, you are fine.
Features
Comes with a nice padded gig bag.
Quality
Excellent build quality and beautiful finish. Hope the glossy finish lasts a long time.
Value
Excellent value for the money.
Manufacturer Support
Have not needed so far.
The Wow Factor
Cool looks.
