Aesthetically and tonally outstanding with unparalleled playability. At first I was hesitant about dropping 2 K plus an additional $115 in taxes for it (still not too happy about this new tax thingie) but once I took it out the case and played it it was like a religious experience. As for manufacturer's support I just got this axe and have yet had no reason to contact the company, and judging by the phenomenal quality of this axe I sort of doubt that I will.

This is a great guitar. I bought this after returning an Elite that had a brdige pickup failure, and a Professional that had a neck or setup issue so I'll compare them to this beast of a guitar. All of the guitars seemed to be high quality, but the Original was a step above... maybe it was the new smell of the nitrocellulose... but it just felt lilke a Custom Shop grade tele. Original Placid Blue Laquer is georgeos. The Elite's Misty Black was nice and the Professional regular black was boring. Also, I like the non-cutout back. The elite is cut like a Strat... this is a Tele! The Original rosewood fingerboard is nice, I like it better than the ebony on the Eilite and the Maple on the Professional. I'm also used to a Les Paul so that may be part of it, but the rosewood just seemed to play better and sound darker in a very good way. I liked the neck size on the Original too. It seems to have substance that wasn't foudn on the Professional and certainly not the Elite. But this is a personal preference, I know. Pickups on the Original are the best comapratively too. The Elite's noiseless didn'd have the same umph and the Professional series sounded great but perhaps had more noise (not sure on that last part yet). I did like the locking tuners on the Elite but to me not a big deal at all. I'm torn on the included case. The Original is classier and nicer but the utlity of the Elite and Pro case is nice too.The Oriingal sounds so good even when you play it without plugging it into an amp. So far, I am really loving the middle positon but it's still too new to say much. Anyway, this America Original 60s is a keeper, likely for life.

I decide to bite the bullet and spend 2k+ to get ahold of this beauty in lpb. The tone is amazing and play ability is phenomenal. However, I will warn anyone that buys this the nitrocellulose may flake off in transit due to tempature shifts. I recieved mine and noticed that small part had floated off in the shape of a teardrop (very small). This was not an issue to me but to others that need perfection it might pose a problem. I will also say you need to remove the pickguard, and the strap locks as mine still had buffing compound underneath, also the strap locks it comes with are placed straight onto the guitar without buttons and this means that the finish underneath is damaged, I added buttons and got fender locks.
