I have had this amp for less than a week, though I have been a Fender guy for close to 10 years. This amp pairs we with my G&L Legacy Deluxe strat style. Right out of the box the amp is lightweight, light enough that any extra weight from a hardcase won't break your back loading in and out of gigs. The amps controls are easily visible and the tweak-ability is amazing! Using my neck pickup I was able to dial in a sound that I like for my original music, a bit of a mid and bass push with some treble but this amp did not get overly bright. I messed with the reverb and added just a touch maybe 1.5s trail. This reverb sounds great, and for anyone who is against digital reverb (I thought I was) you will think again! Its not exactly spring, but it still has a lot of warmth and body. Flipping on the distortion channel was a whole other ball game. There are so many options! Keeping the EQ intact is a great idea, and I was able to find a really nice crunch using gain around 4 on a normal amp (no #'s on this amp which is awesome) and the master volume around 2. Tone knob was roughly 4 as well...it had that bluesy crunch but digging in you can get a singing solo tone...messing with the tone knob really changes the characteristic of the amp. All in all being in an original Jam Band, this amp covers all ground. We play Funk, Rock and Fusion within our sets and this amp will cover it all. Took it out for the maiden voyage at last nights gig and it blew myself and anyone who was used to my old amp away. Go Fuchs yourself and find out ;)
Sound
Versatile, dynamically you can pull a lot out of the guitar with pick pressure. I like mids full on, bass pushed to 8 and treble just a pinch past noon
Features
The built in OD is amazing, having a pedal to turn it on as well as a boost switch on the pedal makes it a great gigging amp.
Ease of Use
Plug in, play with knobs and you will find ten sounds you like in the first hour.
Quality
This amp will last me a lifetime, being a NJ resident I plan to bring it to the factory for all servicing.
Value
Yes.
Manufacturer Support
Not yet, though they seem to be on top of it based on other reviews!
