"Quite possibly the best stomp box delay out there!!!!"

Great great delay pedal with tons of usable features. Excellent quality sound and it lets your tone really shine through!
Sound
Sound quality is excellent. Very distinguishable differences between settings which is better than most delay pedals. Its inspiringly good! Sound is excellent! It allows your tone to shine through the effected sound and makes you want to never use any other delay pedal!
Features
Plenty of usable features. All of the different delay settings are unique and interesting and usable settings that are very adjustable. The only thing I'm not a fan of (as with most pedals) is the power supply. I wish they had something sturdier because I'm worried of damaging the input. Otherwise its a great product with endless usable options and sounds!
Ease of Use
It can be used as plug and play. Granted its slightly more complicated than the average boss style delay, but you can find a good quick delay that is usable in most situations! That wouldn't really justify the price or necessarily be the best use for this pedal. If you are willing to take the time to fiddle with settings it becomes fairly intuitive to use. Besides once you start to save settings you like you can come back to them with a few pedal taps. I like the ability to dial in mili seconds as opposed to just using tap tempo. This way you can work with exact delay times in relation to song Bpm's.
Quality
Like a tank. Feels heavy and strong. I wouldn't want to throw it against the wall, but who would?! If you treat it like any other expensive piece of equipment you own, you'll get many years out of it!!!! Only problem is the power supply connector like I mentioned earlier!
Value
As with all of us we would love to pay as little as possible but realistically this pedal is worth every cent. Compared to other pedals of lesser quality and comparable price, this is worth that little extra!!!!!!
Manufacturer Support
No idea as the product works so well and I have not had any problems, I haven't had to contact them!
The Wow Factor
Looks cool!!!! Its inspiring to play. I could use the 2 boss dd5's I have, but the sound quality is miles ahead!!! It looks sick on my pedal board, like something out of star trek!

there is nothing like an eventide if it were stolen,Id hunt the thief down the search for a delay pedal is over I wont be getting another one,
Sound
this pedal is by far the best sounding delay Ive ever heard , I've tried several other top name delays and this one is perfect for any type of music. I also use it with harmonica as well as guitar. its sound is very organic.the highs are excellent and not over the top, its got a great analog sound feature and the digital doesnt sound so processed like other pedals do
Features
man this thing is loaded with features, tons of presets, a dual delay and looper, tap tempo, digital delay , bucket brigade simulation, tape simulation etc etc........too many features to list and use. Ive owned it for 2 months. it will take me a long, long time to use all the features this pedal has. and if thats not enough , ya can update it using a computer and usb cable through the eventide website.
Ease of Use
i haven't gotten a bad sound from this thing yet. the layout is pretty straight foward the controls are easy to reach, they are labeled well. and work very well as far as the sweep on each knob .. This thing is loaded with features, so of courst its loaded with controls for those features.
Quality
the construction of this pedal seems very solid, die cact, with quality components
Value
worth every penny, its a dual delay with a buttload of features and 24/7 web support
Manufacturer Support
ive used the website for updates to download , everything is easy to find, with clear tabs and instructions
The Wow Factor
if you've tried all th others and are still not quite happy with your tone then buy this product, you wont be dissapointed

"Great sounding delay not the best customer service."

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Love this delay. Use it almost everyday unless I playing acoustic. The sounds are great barn3 Ox is a great add on for it that screw right underneath and adds 3 switches for bank up and down tap tempo. Great that you can set up the banks 1 - 10 5-15 15-49 whatever it works out great for gigs that you know what tones you need or may nee without having to scrolll through 50 settings. My complaint is with Eventide and their lack of honesty regarding powering this effect. Today’s boards are complex and hardware require isolated supplies for the effects. They have lied for years about it he power consumption of these factor pedals first it was 1200ma now it’s 500ma. It draw almost 500 when you start it up but after that it is below 400. Reverse polarity!!! The recommend the wall wart ( whaaat!!!!) or the Eventide cioks power factor. Which doesn’t supply 500 ma. Get a multimeter and check it out. I don’t want to do business with a a company that care more about their overhead than it customers. My mondo and 4x4 power it on the high ma side on 9v and 12v. So there. Hope that helps people out there confused or worried about powering these factor effects. I have had the timefacfor a modfactor a strymon big sky and dig all on the mondo at once no issues whatsoever. I got a zuma now and Ojai 500 ma and selectable Voltage and great cables. No more right angle tangles.
Sound
Great tones after tweaking a bit. If your a fan of short delays then I this will be overwhelming but it’s tamable. You can save all your presets for different gigs sessions ect. I have banks 1-5 for session work and 5-15 for inspiring different tones. 15-25 is banks 1-5 again and some from 5-15 and others including reverse delay volume swell delay. Filter delay. Slap back, echo Rec type delay, tape echo with flutter and without. I love the vintage delay based off the analog delays. I think I have at least two on each bank setting. I rarely use the twin delay but sometimes it’s fun to use. I like how the wet dry mixes really well. Buy an Barn3 Ox for this so you can use tap tempo and bank up and down.
Features
The least useful are some of the xknob junk. It’s just not what you need on Classic delay tones. That being said I couldn’t have gotten an echo Rec without it so yeah. But it can be frustrating. You will easily find a setting you like now they have Pink Floyd setting on there around bank 40! Pretty sweet
Ease of Use
Pretty simple once you understand it. But if you’re new to this kind of gear get ready for hours of tweaking.
Quality
Fantastic. Road and studio worthy. I think there should be a separate switch for looper. I never use it but I know it’s there. Which is stupid to have something you have to scroll through 10 delays to get to. Now let’s talk about eventide and the power consumption for the factor pedals. It’s a drag
Value
Yes and no. Yeah it is a fabulous pedal but it’s resale is low and there are so many great companies out their better than Eventide as far as honestly and service go.
Manufacturer Support
Eventide makes these products knowing we use quality products and says only use their power supply. Once it was stated that it draws 1200ma. Right on the back of the pedal. Now it says 500ma. knowing most people own voodoo labs that don’t have 500 ma. They say use their eventide cioks pedal power and it can power 3 or 4 factor boxes yet it doesn’t offer 500 ma!!! These jerks can’t give you a straight answer and that’s the problem with eventide. It draws about 500ma at startup but in play mode and bank mode during use it won’t hit 400ma. Eventide I have a multimeter why rip people off? So I gotta say I will no longer use other eventide products because I don’t think a company like that is worth doing business with. There bottom line comes before the artists and that’s wrong. I can power it using my voodoo labs mondo at 9v 400ma or 12v at 250ma. I got the strymon Zuma 9 output and Ojai 5 output and they are fabulous. The time line is just as nice I have both. Just really like the barn3 with the timefacfor and Modfactor.
The Wow Factor
I could leave the vintage delay on for the whole set and get it to such a low mix with nice amount of repeats that it just adds character to your sound.

"Quality Dual Delay"

The TimeFactor is by far the best delay pedal I've ever used. The Algorithms for the delays are wonderful. The features are great, the only issue I would have is that it can get pretty complex and it definitely takes time to get used to it. It's not the easiest pedal to program, but once you get the hang of it you'll love the sounds it produces.

I have a DigiTech GNX3 a TimeFactor and a PitchFactor...just short of the EvenTide H8000HW, this is alllll I need. It will take 2 life times to use all the features I have at my feet!
Sound
Outstanding sound. Outstanding quality. Oustanding versitility. The sounds/delays are infinitly adjustible! The description dose not do justice to the product. It reads as if you are buying a Z06 vet and getting an Lamboghini. By itself is a sweet sound, used in conjunction with other equipment is seamless and makes it even more versitile.
Features
A very well read booklet and some simple cheat sheets, if you will. Its an EvenTide, quality componets and materials. No frills, just stright forward controls. What the description dose not tell you is that the effects can be controled with a WHA-WHA pedal to sweep thru the already set up presets that are also adjustable and saveable. Very cool and very sweet. You can hook up 3 control switchs to control 6 parameters all thru one AUX port. And the MIDI controls are out of this world. If you have a computer sequencer/software....Im just speachless!!
Ease of Use
The presets in there own right are enough to satisfy anyone on there own. When you add in the several ( 10 knobs, a/b sides) and the adjustibility...well its just mind blowing! A turn of a knob and your are in a diffrent world, that easy.
Quality
Its EvenTide..need I say more?
Value
Worth every cent!!
Manufacturer Support
Connect a usb and download product updates, back up a single preset or all or the whole system. Top notch. There web site is cool.
The Wow Factor
Stright forward design, features and layout, simple easy, this switch dose this this knob dose that.

I was a little intimidated about this pedal because I'm used to a analog delay. But I was pleasantly surprised at how easy to use this pedal is. If you get on the web site they have an answer to any question. Once I read up on it and played on it for a few hours I've got it programmed the way I want it. Very cool pedal!!!!

"Best sounding delay pedal out there. Period."

Like I said this is the best sounding day pedal I've ever heard. The other pedals in this line sound awesome too. Great in the studio and even better live. If you're a pro looking for a versatile professional quality pedal then go for it! Don't go cheap with line 6 or T.C... I've used both and they suck compared to this pedal. I swear I don't work for eventide, I just dig their gear.
Sound
This is the best sounding multi-delay stomp box I have ever used or heard. Bar none
Features
Its it just about everything you can reasonably ask for. Tons of delay fx, a looper, and expression pedal control. If you want more than you're not looking at the right category of pedal, or you have a rich fantasy life.
Ease of Use
People say eventide pedals are hard to use. I disagree strongly. It's not that different from other multi-delay pedals out there. In this age of computers and iPhones, if you can't figure this pedal out in 15-20 minutes then you're not ready for it. On top of that the pedal's sound trumps all other aspects of this review. Buy this pedal because it will make you sound good, not because you want your grandma to be able to use it.
Quality
Solid knobs, tight connections on the jacks, and a decent LCD display. Don't think this will be breaking any time soon.
Value
This pedal aint cheap but neither is a Porsche. This is the Porsche of delay pedals.
The Wow Factor
Who cares? Is anyone really Looking at your pedal boards besides you and your guitar tech?
