The cabinet is well built even though I was sketchy about it cause it’s made in China…. The tone is blistering when paired with a high gain tube amp, It doesn’t lose clarity when cranked up, Celestion Speakers are still tops with me and these custom speakers are phenomenal sounding with no crackle like you get with cheaper made speakers, I run just an eq with my amp nothing else and it’s dialed in to my taste, THRASH! This is a beautiful cabinet & Overall great product!

Once the speakers break in and open up it rips. Great for aggressive playing with a healthy amount of saturation. Love it for hard rock with my Iconic head. You want attitude through a cab? It's got plenty.It's not as dynamic as my 5153 EVH 412 but it sounds and feels great when I want to push with a bit of force(gain). Definitely sounds great and price point is good. I didn't cringe at the MDF. I've got the nice EVH 5153 412 as well as an Orange PPC 412 and this Iconic cab offers something else especially if you want to flex(healthy saturation). I like it! Give it a 5 for high gain.
