If you play punk or metal, it's hard to beat this bass. Super solid stainless steel frets, one big EMG pickup in the spot you want it, and no extraneous controls to get in the way. The nut material was easy to work with and got this thing easily set up with nice low action. The bridge is nice and the tuners are definitely above average. The ebony fretboard is the best and it looks cool with no inlays on a totally murdered-out guitar. The tone is thick, not muddy, while still being nimble and handled tuning down like a champ. I personally think the sound could use a little more edge to it, maybe the 35DC might be a better choice for heavy music as far as a pickup goes, but the 35CS delivers quite nicely despite this. The guitar is light and compact and the neck is easier to play than say a Fender guitar might be. All in all it's got everything you'd might want out of a nicer instrument with nothing extra.

This bass is awesome scored one today in atlanta, very basic yet precision bass on steroids. The name is probably the only thing i dot care for. However a sick ass instrument and iron clad in its build .. it can do many things with just the volume knob and level of attack.. Mxr 10 band and a decent compression pedal and your set. Highly recommend this instrument
