This is the perfect bass for me. I'm a J-Bass guy from way back but have always preferred a single EMG and the best bridge I could get. Anything more than a volume knob is too much for my taste - so much so that I used a couple of Performance basses from parts for years just because I could set it up the way I wanted. I think EMG read my mind on this. The ONLY thing I don't totally love is the reverse headstock because I just messes with me when tuning, but that's a minor issue. Everything else is perfect.
