ESP LTD H-400 Electric Guitar

With a thin neck profile, a solid, string-thru bridge, and beefy Seymour Duncan pickups, the ESP LTD H-400 electric is smooth-playing and deeply resonant.

I ordered this guitar 2 days ago. It was iffy, but seymour duncans pickups, plus they just dropped price. Wow, out of the box ready to go. Esp/Ltd must have a great quality control dept. Anyway, I've had an ec 1000 for a few years, with the Duncan zebras. I would put the h-400 in the ec 1000 category. This guitar is a hot rod. The action is as low it can get. With no buzz at all. It's lower than my ec 1000 and I didn't think it could go any lower when I bought that. Anyway buy this guitar and you will be amazed. Only draw back is I didn't buy 2 of them.
Sound
The tail pickup is a hotty, the bridge pickup has a thick tone about it. It not a light weight guitar, but the thin body and shape make this guitar very comfortable on the old back. The fret work is just like my ec -1000, top notch. I was hesitant about the inlays being at the top of the fret, but it works. They are very visible while playing which helps me. The tuners are great. I thought they would be 14:1 ratio, but there 16:1. If you play classic rock or metal. You will be glad once this guitar is in your hands.
Features
I will stand by what I said earlier, I can't find anything wrong with this guitar.
Value
It's a $1000 guitar for under $700
