What a great pedal. So many instantly gratifying tones available, but with plenty of tweaking that will allow for experimenting. I’m new to harmonic tremolo, but the closest thing I’ve played to one is a univibe pedal. It excels at modulated tremolo sounds, though you can adjust it for only modulation or only tremolo. The tremolo is on the choppy side, but it’s very well done. The modulation sounds you can get include phase, vibe, and fixed wah. I put it in my effects loop, and it sounds great with overdrive going into it. Super cool pedal, very happy with my purchase.

I’ve ordered hundreds of pedals in my lifetime both new and used and have never had a pedal arrive dead. Not one! I ordered this pedal brand new and after plugging it in and adjusting the knobs...nothing! Earthquaker Devices also gets low marks for poor customer service. I do not believe Earthquaker Devices to use quality components and obviously does very poor quality control. Inexcusable for pedals that cost this much. I will never buy another Earthquaker Devices pedal again no matter how much others gush over it. There are too many quality builders out there I’d rather give my money to. Thank goodness zZounds has a quick and painless return department!
