I have 35 years experience playing bass. For the first 20 of those years, I was a strict user of Rotosound, but noticed that they would lose their brightness vey quickly. I began trying different brands, about a month ago, I ordered these Ernie Ball hybrid. WOW! These strings have beautiful tone and are easy on the fingertips. If they can keep their killer tone for at least 8 weeks, Ernie Ball has a new life long customer. I only have 1 issue...i wish they were available in a heavier gauge (ie. 50-.110)I cannot comment on manufacturer support as I have not had a need to contact them.
