This is a well made machine whether you are in the music industry or noy. I am very pleased with the simplicity of the controls as far as setting up. You will need 2 RCA y connectors if plugging into a mixer to a single channel (female to two males 12" long min.). The RCA cables are kinda cheesy in quality so I recommend a more professional set with gold plated ends for quality sound and connectivity.
