First, this guitar is made using modern materials but on a 1930’s blueprint, meaning it has the smaller frets and thicker neck prevalent during that period. I have no problem with either as I’ve played many older guitars and I’ve adapted just fine to each of their little quirks. After unpacking the guitar I let it sit for a few hours to settle in,during another life I worked in a music store and I remember one of the workers unpacking a brand new Gibson Les Paul goldtop after being shipped during a freezing spell and the finish immediately checked (!) so I’ve been paranoid ever since.Anyways, after tuning it to standard, the action is very good and I haven’t had to touch anything adjustment wise. If you are used to hard strumming and percussive playing this might not be the one for you,but for fast runs and a light touch no other acoustic I own will touch it. It’s not as loud as my Taylor(few are) but it’s action approaches my old Les Paul and it has a really good pickup system for playing plugged in,so I’m going to give this thing two thumbs up! The inlays are done better than most I’ve seen and all the frets are done right. This guitar is definitely worth it.
