It is an amazing guitar in many ways. I got mine over the past weekend from zZounds. It is a gorgeous guitar to look at. The Probucker Humbuckers it came with aren't bad. Would have preferred if they had gone with Classics instead. The fit and finish is amazing. No visible flaws anywhere. Case and case candy was cool, olive drab case with blue felt lining. The neck is very comfortable and lends itself well to the likely styles of music you would play on this type of guitar. The setup out of the case was just bad. The action on the bass string side was very high. The Tune o Matic bridge on the bass side was nearly all the way up. Intonation was off a little. Once that was fixed the guitar was great. Ebony Fingerboard that had ZERO dead spots, well dressed frets and tremendous feel. The hardware is all top notch. The Bigsby Tremolo with String Spoiler from Vibromate is just AWESOME. The Grover tuners were precise. No pinging while tuning. The nut is a Graph Tech NuBone nut. Not as well known as their Tusq nuts but still a vast improvement on what you normally get at this price point. This guitar, even if you aren't into signature models, it's very much a great deal because of the feature set. HIGHLY recommend it. Buy it from zZounds, their customer service is top notch.

Wanted to add a 335 style guitar to my collection and was looking at the Sheraton model when I ran across this 355. Seemed to have some nice upgrades with the ebony board, Bigsby tailpiece and ProBucker pups.I'm not a fan of sig guitars and don't know a lot about JB, but this 355 right out of the box was set up perfectly. Craftsmanship was pretty much flawless and with the inlays and binding the headstock was even beautiful. The sound is completely even and smooth, a very rich and full tone no matter the pickup selection.A very responsive guitar. Easy to see why this guitar style covers so many genres. The Grover tuners are especially smooth to my surprise and the case has a nice novelty vibe going on.The Bigsby is a little stiff compared to my Gretsch but gets extra bonus points for the included String Spoiler. There's really nothing I can complain about with this ES-355 and easily worth every penny.

Guitar plays nice, the pickups are fairly responsive. The control knobs work well. The neck is comfortable and slim. As you can see in the stock photos it isn't a b7 bigsby but a b700, not a big deal. The reason I purchased it was because the description says it is a 3 ply body construction, it isn't, it is a 5 ply. My fault, I should have checked the epiphone website. I think this is a good guitar, and nice looking. Very good construction and a clean finish. As I said it plays well, just know these things before ordering.

I had the chance to play this guitar in a Guitar Center, and after seeing and then playing this model, I was sold. This will be my first of this style and think I chose a good model to own. I got mine from zZounds, so should you! The way it feels and sounds with melodic chords, and the presence of its picking tone will sell you. Cant wait till she gets here!!!I'm not that wealthy and if I can afford it you can too!
