Alright then... unlike the other reviews here...I got a good one...only set up needed was to torque the neck a tad to straighten...frets are great with not one sharp end...great guitar if you're a strat person who would also like nice humbuckers as well...and the neck is 25.5 like a strat...ebony fretboards are my fav...it is light...hard shell case to boot...wonderful price (got mine on sale)...and of course...Zz gives you 45 days to return if you don't like it...so far , it's a huge keeper...I didn't rate "Support" because I have needed none...Epiphone started out as it's own entity rivaling Gibson , who , eventually bought them out...but now they have their own factory and lately have been making some wonderful affordable guitars (as opposed to Gibson)

I'm reluctant to review because when you get guitar this cool your afraid prices will go up... but .... its only fair to share experience of a great guitar. A great deal is rare these days. I love les paul's but could never bond with them, I find them awkward. Im an esquire/ telecaster guy and my other guitar is a firebird. I wanted a smaller guitar that had a GREAT deal of versatility for on the go. With its familiar neck (firebird) pickup and rear humbucker and unique switching, I feel ever position has a use. I do like warmth. This gives me the things I like from so many different kinds of guitars. Electronics are solid. I can crank volume and tone, sit it on a chair and dead quiet tell you play it. Has a great hardshell that comes with it. Not just great guitar for money... but great guitar.... PERIOD!!!!!

super svelt and has a kinda smaller LP type vibe (without a carved top)...the switching options are cool, good variety of sounds. -had to send mine back, the neck angle was way too shallow - even with saddles all the way down, action was still not low enough to meet pretty much any modern guitar specs. should not have passed QC.

QC is lacking I believe they was in a hurry to get them out and things were missed. The soldering is sloppy position 3 and 4 did not work due to wires touching and the finish on the neck started cracking I emailed zZounds and was sent a copy of the warranty and basically I can mail it in and at my expense to epiphone and they may or may not fix or replace it. I'm starting to really question if I will buy anything else from here and that's sad because I have bought many guitars and amps from zZounds I know the guitar's failures are not there fault but I've had the guitar less than a month and it's been nothing but issues. I expected more from epiphone and zZounds. On the bright side the case is one of the nicest if seen to come with a guitar especially at this price point. Well done epiphone for making a great case
