you could probably rock this guitar for 1-2 years you need to change the bridge pu though I got the guitar for 250.00 and feel great that i was able to learn on it the neck is really fast everything was adjustable very easily. I would highly recommend this guitar for the first time player, or someone who is willing to take time with the guitar and set it up properly and dont want to spend a ton of money then get this guitar for a nice cheapie honestly one of the best cheap guitars ive heard sg310
Sound
the neck pickup is pretty good for stock. the bridge pickup sucks horribly it sounds like mud at any volume I find when playing this guitar I spend more time trying to get a good tone than actually playing the darn thing, tried on multiple amps as well I set the action up and adjusted pickup height, the neck got better but the bridge is muddy no matter what
Features
actually the hardware they used for this guitar is pretty good I havent had a problem with anything the bridge is easily adjustable it gets a 6 because it doesnt have a floyd rose, no whammy, etc.
Ease of Use
the action out of the box is ok the pickup height is wrong not very hot hard to get art. harmonics out of it even when adjusted but its very easy to adjust and recommend for ease of use only as far as adjustments to get a sg310 and learn how a guitar works. its really easy to dial this thing in but even then it sounds pretty bad
Quality
Not road or heavy gig worthy pretty lightweight but the finish and parts have shown no sign of wear in over 2 years other than the pickguard getting scratches the guitar, I have had to adjust the bolt on neck and input jack as both came loose and the guitar was flopping around all over
Value
this one is not worth the money I have the SG 310 I got it for 250.00 and feel that it was worth the money here all your payin for is a darn paint job, i got the all black one and the finish is still sweet but I couldnt imagine spending over 300 for this guitar but is probably the best starter guitar in the 200-300 range without a doubt
The Wow Factor
I own it its ok great for first guitar way better than strat knock offs look up the sg310 without the paint job and get that one
