"Great Guitar"

I've been playing for 30 years now, and have been eyeballing these Slash models for a while, when they lowered the price to $799 I jumped on the Victoria, and it's a killer Gold Top Les Paul. The pickups are exact replicas of the Gibson Custombuckers found in the their model. And they're great. Somewhat hot, but still warm in the neck, with zero mud. And clear but biting in the bridge. The neck is similar to the neck on my Les Paul Standard 50's, and feels great too. If you take the time to set this guitar up and dial in the pickups correctly, it's fantastic. This is my 4th purchase from the Inspired by Gibson line, and I haven't been disappointed yet. This guitar is second only to my new Epiphone Les Paul Adam Jones Custom, Veil of Bees. So, for the same price as a LP Custom, you get better pickups, a better feeling neck and a beautiful hard shell case. It's a no-brainer.Besides, it's a Gold Top, one of the coolest LP finishes yet.

You can’t go into this expecting Gibson level quality. Nonetheless, this is a great guitar. The only thing I have done is install Dunlop strap locks as they are my preference. I would have liked a more worked rosewood board, but again, it would have driven the price up. It looks and plays very well. I might put SD pickups in, but these sound fine. Besides, your main sound is your amp in my opinion. The guitar is just the tool to make those sounds happen. This guitar will suit most people fine. I’ve played plenty of Gibson that felt worse than this Epiphone.

Got the gold top, and I am absolutely blown away by this guitar. Not a single blemish, out of a beautiful case, with strap locks and custom probuckers. I love it. It is honestly the nicest guitar I have ever owned. Better than my Gibson Firebird and Antigua strat. The Probucker's rock on this thing. I just love everything about it and it is the last guotar I would sell.

Having journeyed through iconic guitars like the Gibson Les Paul Standard and various others, my recent encounter with the Epiphone Slash Les Paul left me genuinely astonished. Unveiling its potential straight out of the box, this guitar's performance exceeded my expectations.Tuning proved to be a breeze before I embarked on an extended playing session. The standout feature, undoubtedly, is the inclusion of Orange Drop capacitors with their reputation for clarity and warmth, significantly enhance the playing experience. Great finish, color, feel, tone, sound, weight, smell, even the red fur of the case is beautiful.

This my second Slash guitar. I understand people saying “ appetite for your money” let’s face it shoe company’s and sport teams ETC are no better. It really sounds good very midrange with good sustain. It looks and feels amazing. I also have the ZW custom Epiphone and it doesn’t have the the 81/85 EMGS but it’s still a great deal. I also have the Epiphone 59 and that’s amazing too. Bottom line don’t bash this guitar it’s a great budget guitar with Slash specs. I doesn’t have his pickups I get it. It’s still an amazing guitar

I was ecstatic to plug this in and began playing. Right off the rip a loud buzz is heard unless you are touching the stringsThe action is high along with the G saddle setting a little higher than the rest. For 799 I shouldn't have to shield the cavities of a guitar with foil liner to prevent buzz.

Had this guitar for a short while returned it because the pickup selector switch was broken I did play it for a little bit the custom probuckers we’re OK but didn’t sound all that great. When I bought it the price was $899 now Epiphone is asking $949 don’t know what the spike in prices is for but for that price at least they should come with the Seymour Duncan slash signature pickups.

Don’t buy just because of slash. The custom model is cheaper and better all around. This should be priced between $599-$699. It comes with a case so what. Not worth $899. Unfortunately these used are still priced pretty high as well.
Sound
Big chunky neck if that’s what your into.
Features
Doesn’t come with slash signature pickups.

Definitely overrated! Surface scratches all over it! Probuckers in my silver burst are hotter then these customs!
