I'm a touring musician full-time and have and been through maybe around 50 Gibson Les Pauls. I got this guitar out of curiosity because I wanted to try a 7-string out with a body shape I know and love. That being said, I'm completely impressed by the quality of this guitar. Epiphone has come a LONG LONG way and with the help of Matt Heafy, made an extraordinary guitar. This is my only Epiphone that I'm keeping in my collection. The neck feels solid and shreddy. The looks are to die for. The ONLY thing I'd change are the PUPS because I'm not a fan of active but that is very objective. They are great PUPS just not for me personally. Overall, I am very satisfied with this guitar and the price point. It feels easily like a $2k-2.2k Gibson.
