This ES-335 may seem a little on the pricey side, but I'm here to say it's absolutely worth it. The craftsmanship is excellent, as well as the attention to detail. I've heard a few hardcore collectors nitpicking about a few of the tiny details on this guitar's build, but they are comparing it to $4000 Gibsons. If you must own that type of "perfect" manufacturing, then go buy that guitar, otherwise I tip my hat to Epiphone (& Bonamassa), for bringing the quality at an affordable price point!!The Burstbuckers (2 & 3) pair amazing well with the ES335's semi-hollow body construction to generate big crunchy blues and fat juicy rock tones you can taste!Playability is spot on as well. Mine arrived with perfect action, not too high, and not too low. The maestro vibrato is just right for fluid expressiveness.Great great instrument, designed with forethought, and built with care. Truly!!

I'm a Les Paul guy and have been impressed by the last two Epi Bonamassa's (Black Beauty and Lazarus) and Epiphone's 59 run. So when I saw this I decided to grab it and I love it! It is great. It is sporting the same pickups as Lazarus and the 59 Les Pauls which I find pretty good but in the 335 they sound amazing! Far better than in the Paul's at least to my ears. I don't know what it is but I'm loving it. They are a limited run of 2000 I believe so if you're on the fence pick one up.

Guitar arrived in good shape, plays well and finish is perfect, only problem was the rear bridge pickup was on an angle and would not adjust down, had to take it apart and reinstall it properly, not saying much for their QC as it was the first thing I noticed. but overall it's a great player.

I've been lucky to have ordered this 1962 Joe Bonamassa ES-335 and now own it. The guitar is well built and has a lot of character I can tell just from the first strum. It's fantastic with bright tone pickups and can easily take the bite out and have that in between clean and growling crunch with the right strokes. I oiled the neck 1st thing with Fast Fret, been using it for decades on every guitar I've owned. I let it set and acclimate to my place and finally tuned it and that's when the magic happens, you know when you're tuning up and can virtually go off, you're just tuning right~! So after an hour jamming with my new ES-335 I can easily see it's going to become a favorite and surely going to uncover all sorts of fun riffs licks & runs!! An assortment of unlimited tones can be dialed in, plus with the Spark Amp I have I can literally create any tone I can think of. I do prefer a jazzy clean blues sound, excellent harmonics from my Dunlap Ultex Sharp .90m picks I use. Adding this all together ends up in being a fun jam session with all sorts of gorgeous sounds. If you're like me, love the guitar and want this one from Joe Bonamassa, don't hesitate to pull the trigger especially with zZounds, easy payments excellent service too with fast shipping and communication. -- My story with zZounds, this is my 2nd guitar via them. This Joe Bonamassa guitar was important to me to be flawless and when my order arrived originally I found cracks in the neck at the nut on both sides. I immediately called zZounds and they gave me options, 1 to obviously replace it or 2 I can keep it and have it repaired locally and they'll give a discount. Wonderful to have options as if it weren't for this guitar being a Joe Bonamassa model I would have taken a discount and have it repaired. However I received a Return Authorization from them and I easily dropped it off at UPS and I called zZounds just to confirm it. A few hours later my new guitar was being shipped at the same time.Everyone at zZounds was wonderful and helpful, no upsell no trying to change my mind just straight forward honest help.× Matt Adam Jordan × Meanwhile the guitar is Gorgeous!! High end price for Epiphone too, which is worth every penny! You should get one, right now!
