This is the official model case for the Epiphone Century Zenith. When the case is closed there is a 1/2 inch gap between the top and case that can only be closed by exerting pressure directly on the arched top and bridge of the guitar, which is just about the stupidest and worst way to store and transport an archtop guitar, or any guitar. Whoever contracted this case to be made could not be bothered to actually FIT THE CASE to the guitar it was made for, such that it is utterly unusable for any purpose. Add to that, that for $145 bucks this case is made of kind of flimsy plastic that flexes all over until all latches are closed. There were also gobs or glue stuck to the outside of the tolex in several spots. I am more than underwhelmed with the quality for the money. I think Epiphone has been making some nice instruments and I am certain that can, and should do better than this piece of junk that does not even fit the guitar.
