I did a ton research on these speakers, and decided to go ahead and get the Bluetooth version. Although I would NEVER do a show or anything professional with a BT connection, I thought it would be a nice feature to have.These are GREAT speakers, but the BlueTooth is HORRIBLE. With the speaker sitting less than 4 feet away from my Bluetooth source, which is a newer Apple iMac... it's just choppy and horrible.Compare this with my Pyle Mixer that has Bluetooth. When my Bluetooth Mixer links with the same computer, and is wired to the speaker, it's EXCELLENT.This tells me the Bluetooth antenna in the actual speaker is very poor.I would NOT purchase this speaker with the Bluetooth feature, however I DO Love the Speaker so far. I will purchase another one WITHOUT the Bluetooth feature. Save the extra $50

I have other brand speakers , same size but heard this speaker sounded better. It does sound great for the money but if you need the bluetooth dont buy this speaker. I think you can buy the same one cheaper without the bluetooth and use a cable which would be the best way. There are great powered speakers out there that sound about as good with great bluetooth.

as usual with EV, amazing sound. I absolutely love the sound. I did choose this speaker because of the Bluetooth feature. BT on this speaker is embarrassing, awful, a shame. The range is less than 6 feet, and if without obstructions. the speaker does have amazing sound, yet do not expect to use it as Bluetooth speaker.
