These are fantastic speakers. Back in the day about 15-20 years ago I use to work for local tour and concert company in the midwest. I've have some interaction with the EV line. But I bought two of these for use at work inside a large aircraft hanger and well WOW! They sound fantastic and you can hear them clear across the flight line. I pretty much run them hard from 6am til midnight for the last 5 months and no failure or change in sound quality. I would say that's a solid testament to the design and construction to EV. Get speaker and build I have these paired up with a pair of ELX-12P subs.

I've used the EV ELX200-10P for the last five months as a monitor while I DJ. However, the sound clarity, low-end thump, and overall throw is so amazing I'm going to buy another to place on top of my EV EKX200-18SP's! Seriously, don't let the small size fool you, this speaker packs an amazing punch of aural goodness!

I am a Transplanted Musician to Branson Missouri in 1990 from Minnesota. I have had and used Electro Voice for 50+ Yrs.l traded a pair of Tour-x,15's-2-ways and a Pair of EV Dominator-18's and now Have ELX-200-10in.(Pair) & (Pair) of ELX-200-12p pwrd. Subs and shey Kick Ass. The Subs go Down to 37hz at -6db.to 120hz. at 130db continuous and same with the ELX-200-10in.2-way tops 130db.continuous also. Fabulous Sound Quality & Reproduction! Best l have Ever had. Does 300+ People outdoors & up 500 indoors. So you Tell Me(Great)!

In building a super compact light PA system I came across these EV's. I was thinking that the JBL EON 610 was the lighter smaller choice. The other guitar player got the JBL and I went for the EV. The EV sounds better and is less prone to feedback as a monitor. It's a better product and matches well as mains or monitors.
