I imagine I will be satisfied with this product a long time. If I need more power or features, there are more Eden WT amps to look into!
Sound
This is truly one amazing sounding amp. At first it was a little confusing, you wouldn't expect just a few knobs to do so much--but they do.It took awhile of fiddling with the knobs and getting the feel of it, but once you do this thing really impresses you with its tone, tight, true bass and endless array of sonic possibilities--all with just a few slight turns of the knobs. This thing will make you a believer, all you have to do is spend the time with it to get used to how it works, then you are hooked!
Features
I find all the features on this little--but awesome--unit really useful. The only feature I really wish it had is a balanced input to go with the regular 1/4 input. All in all, it was the carefully selected features that drew me to this unit in the first place, along with that "Golden Ear" chip sound.
Ease of Use
Once you get the hang of it--after spending some time playing through it and getting the idea of how to use the knobs, and how they are used to tailor the sound--this thing is a breeze to dial in any tone you desire. I am still finding tones out of this thing, and I have only had it a few days. This amp is fast becoming a favorite, and I no longer have to use the multitude of preamps and effects to accomplish what this one amp does so effortlessly.
Quality
I think this is a very high quality amp, through and through...top notch. Of course, if you go out on the road, it would only make sense to take steps to protect "your baby" (because that's what it will become) by buying a high quality road case--I bought the optional rack ears, and bought a shock mount road rack case for it as well. You can also put it in any of the manufactured bags made for it, and take it with on the plane and put it in the overhead rack!
Value
This amp is worth every penny, every dollar. And for it's price range, it would be hard to beat--if you are interested in features and pure quality sound like you never heard before this is the amp for you. If you are worried about power, you can always get a huge monster power amp and run a line out from the X260 to it and use it as a preamp. In any case, I feel you will want to keep this baby around. I know I will.
Manufacturer Support
I haven't had to deal with the company yet, but don't anticipate any problems if I do.
The Wow Factor
I love the way it looks, the knobs, the red Eden that lights up on power up...very sexy amp!
