This is one of those quality pieces of gear that brings unique tools to the table, but was initially docked points by reviewers due to software issues(lack of note tie, MIDI spec, etc.) which were present in early firmware releases. It’s unfortunate, but this happens a LOT in the hardware arena. If you were about to base your purchase decision on those early reviews, do yourself the favor of gathering the details of this piece in its *current form* - you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Dreadbox/Polyend are not of the, “love ‘em and leave ‘em” mentality.
