The Michael Schenker Kaleidoscope V by Dean is one of the signature line of guitars, and the quality is definitely there. The finish is awesome, as long as color is your thing! The C shape neck is comfortable as all the 79 series of guitars, and the ebony fretboard is very nice. I prefer less in the way of inlays, so the bullet hole 12th fret inlay only was appreciated. Pickups are Dean's DMT USA 'Lights Out' set. They are great high output pickups, nice in the mids with a great clarity for open chords or low string work. Lots of punch for power chords and palm muting. Harmonics are great also. These pups alone make the guitar worth the money. The mahogany neck and string-thru body give it a killer midrange tone that my Carvin V3 loves! Very impressive guitar all round!
