I was totally blown away by the quality. The finish was perfect in every way. Intonated flawlessly all over the neck. Tuners are Grover ... excellent. Great unplugged sound, especially considering the depth. Plays like my Gretsch HBs. Just a really excellent guitar. I was impressed. No setup needed. However, the pickup was a bit fubar'd. Dean CS is sending another Fishman for it though.Really impressed by Dean's Asian mfr and their service.

Instead of dragging my expensive guitars into ratty bars, I gigged an old Dean Performer for 20 years until I finally gave it away to family. So when I needed another acoustic I looked at Dean first. I bought this for the wild graphics, not expecting anything special. But quickly found that it was almost flawless. Perfect finish, nut, neck, bridge. Tuners are excellent. Very surprising unplugged tone considering the depth. First guitar I've never had to set up. Just restrung with lights and done. Plays like my Gretsch electric hollowbodys. All that said ... the low E string has a reduced volume compared to the others, even after cleaning the pickup element and sanding the bridge. Dean is sending a new Presys II so I can replace it. Great customer service.I'll need a backup for gigs and will def get a second Dean Exhibition. These things are pretty solid.
