After months of researching guitars, I decided on the Deciever. I was looking for something that wasn't quite so "cookie cutter" as the other guitars in this price range. I choose the charcoal grey with metallic flakes, and am super happy that I did! Love my new baby! My boyfriend has picked it up and played it a few times, and as he is 6', he thought it was too small for his type of frame to be comfortable. But, for my smaller frame it fits like a glove.
Sound
I love the sound of my deciever, it responds readily to my touch, and has a nice resonance. You can take the sound of this guitar and play just about any style your in the mood for.
Features
The features on this guitar are minimalist, there aren't a lot of bells and whistles to this guitar. For myself, it is a perfect fit. It has the necesities, no more and no less.
Ease of Use
Pick it up, and rock on! Very easy to use. By far the best feature is the the way the strings are set up in this guitar, it's very easy to change strings. This guitar is easy to tune as well.
Quality
I am satisfied with the quality of my guitar. It did have one minor blemish on the back of the neck, but in my opinion only adds to the overall character of the guitar.
Value
It is a very nice guitar for the value, selling price seems spot on compared to its value.
Manufacturer Support
I haven't needed customer support with my guitar as of yet.
The Wow Factor
Smoking hot! I'm always attracted to the bad boys, and this is one bad boy guitar...

my overall opinion on this guitar is basically:The pickups arent nearly as good as they should be but everything else and especially the look of it are unbeatable.
Sound
The sound was the only issue i have with this guitar.im a huge fan of dean but when i bought this with emg's i expected alot more.ive never tried emg's before but i was dissapointed on this set.i could barely get a squeal out on these.it sound ok but there isnt alot of output.
Ease of Use
Well i love the playability of this guitar.the neck is really smooth and comfortable.not a v-shaped neck which im not a fan of.the body is thin(i was expecting somethin similar to a les paul thickness)nothing like a les paul.it isnt top heavy which is also a good thing.
Quality
this guitar seems to hold up pretty well.the tuners stay in tune pretty well.i dont expect anything to go wrong with this product for a while.i dont think i would need a back up unless you would use it for another tuning.i would hate to bring it on the road without taking extra care of it.
Value
I really dont think due to the pickups this guitar is woth $700.it would be with different pickups.
Manufacturer Support
i had long and detailed conversations with people from dean and they were always there to asnwer and were always easy to get ahold of.
The Wow Factor
this is one of the most beautiful guitars ive seen.i have the classic white(which i thinks the only way to go)but this guitar is so sheek and pretty.you just want to look at it rather than play it.
